The 0.25Mta facility was commissioned in October 2016 and represents an investment of US$24m. Despite its capability, the Cabo Delgado plant is producing just 300tpd. Greenfield plants are being built by CIF-Moz, owned by the China International Fund, and Limak Cement of Turkey, in the southern province of Maputo.
